Gang and youth violence commission, Supporting our local schools

DA Gary Lieberstein told us about the new Gang and Youth Violence Commission being formed for Napa County.  They are looking for board members - local citizens, youth and adults alike.  For an application and more information:  countyofnapa.org

The Teacher Resource Center of the North Bay is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group collecting classroom supplies for all of the NVUSD schools.  You can help by purchasing items and donating them.  The teachers get to "shop" for free to stock their classroom with much-needed supplies.  Please see a list of items needed and the bin locations:  teacherresourcecenter.org
