Tuesday - Friday Night Live and Earth Day

We heard from teens this morning.  Did you know we had such a problem with underage drinking in Napa?  And that 23% of parents surveyed PROVIDE alcohol parties for their kids?  You don't hear me go speechless that often but I was definitely struggling to find the words when I heard about that!

If you want to get involved with these dynamic teens to reduce underage drinking please come to the Town Hall Meeting on May 17 at Valley Oak High School from 5:30 to 8 pm.

More info:  Katie Keating  707.253.4724

We heard about Earth Day this morning - lots of fun activities in Downtown Napa this Saturday.  And we can all pitch in and clean up our creeks and river before the festivities begin.  If you're interested in participating, check out:  naparcd.org  or  earthdaynapa.com

Wednesday - Books you need to know about!

It was all about the books with my guests this morning!

Alissa Finerman gave us tips on "Living in Your Top 1%:  Nine Essential Rituals to Achieve Your Ultimate Life Goals"

alissafinerman.com  is her site and you can also friend her on Facebook

Then local author, Darleen Garcia Gardner, revealed her new bilingual children's book, "My Cat, Boots/Mi Gatitta, Botas"  The message of the book is that LOVE makes a family.  This was inspired by her experience as an adoptive parent and her real life cat, Boots, who is 21 years old now!  Get her sweet book here:
